Miami born and raised Latino chef, Chris Valdes, has embraced many cultures through his cooking by fusing Caribbean flavors with modern influences to create iconic dishes. His food is inspired, vibrant, sexy - desire on a plate. His relentless drive to share his passion for cooking and bringing people together through food led Chef Chris to create his own platform on YouTube, and star in his very own series, Cooking with Chris. He has published a debut cookbook, One With The Kitchen, and is currently working on his second. Chef Chris has been featured on the cover of several magazines, various national TV shows, such as Hallmark’s Home and Family and LIVE with Kelly and Ryan, and was a finalist on Food Network Star and Star Salvation. Most recently, Chris was featured as a host on ROKU’s 2022 cooking competition show, ¡Que Delicioso!.
Chef Chris blends his love of food with his drive to elevate his local community. These two passions working in tandem have presented opportunities to work with many philanthropic organizations such as Florida Dairy Farmers, No Kid Hungry, and the March of Dimes. Chef donated over 50k meals to his community - including first responders, seniors, and families in need - during the Covid-19 pandemic. When Chris isn't elevating the vibe in a kitchen, you can catch him sharing a meal with friends or hitting the gym in Miami.
