Lacey Leone McLaughlin

Elite Leadership Coach, Consultant, Podcast Host

Called the “rage coach” (Insider), “cancel-culture consultant” and “go-to underling whisperer” (The Hollywood Reporter), executive coach Lacey Leone McLaughlin was, until recently, a best-kept secret of the Hollywood elite. As an executive coach and talent management professional, Lace has more than 20 years of experience coaching fortune 500 CEOs, high-level aerospace and automotive engineers, and elite Hollywood directors, showrunners, and producers. She initially received a flurry of media attention as the coach Hollywood executives turn to in order to keep from getting canceled, but her work is so much bigger than that—coaching leaders in becoming better and more successful people, who are able to empathize with their employees and treat them like human beings. She advises all level of leaders with a particular emphasis on leadership transitions and leadership effectiveness coaching.

Lacey was selected as a member of Marshall Goldsmith 100 Coaches. She has been interviewed or had her writing featured in The Wall Street Journal, The Times, New York Magazine, Business Insider, The Daily Beast, The New York Post, and more, and has co-authored articles on Employee Resources Groups (Diversity and Inclusion) and Leadership Development.

Her popular podcast, Unfolding Leadership, is currently in its second season. Season 1 guests included Lacey’s high-profile friends, colleagues, and clients, including Academy, Emmy and Peabody award-winning producer, director and writer Jeff Hassler, actress and former Ms. USA Ali Landry, Oscar winning documentary film-maker Shannon Dill, criminal defense attorney Armilla Staley-Ngomo, and award-winning CNN journalist John Vause.

Lacey is the President of LLM Consulting Group, Inc., where she helps leaders deliver business results by focusing on clearly identified personal and organizational goals. She was previously the Director of Executive Education at USC’s Center for Effective Organizations (CEO) in the Marshall School of Business. Before joining CEO, Lacey managed the Los Angeles region’s largest portfolio of business and clients as a human capital consultant for Personnel Decisions International. She holds a BA from Whittier College and an MBA, with a focus in Leadership and Management.
